Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to support daily and monthly accounting operations for a growing company based in El Dorado Hills. This role offers a clear path to permanent employment and long-term career growth for the right candidate.
Perform daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and month-end close reports
Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
Maintain and analyze budget vs. actuals
Help prepare for audits and year-end reporting
Assist with process improvement initiatives and documentation
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proficient in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks
Solid understanding of GAAP
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
